The BEPER P303MED001 electronic non-contact infrared thermometer is a medical device that allows for quick and precise measurement of the temperature of body, objects, and liquids. The thermometer is equipped with a three-color, backlit LCD display (green, orange, red) and a precise sensor that measures the temperature in a few seconds. The thermometer remembers the last 10 measurements, so you can track changes in body temperature and check the course, e.g., the development of a fever.

Features:

  • Digital display in 3 colors, according to the measured temperature in °C or ºF
  • Body temperature measurement range from 34°C to 43°C (93.2°F – 109.4°F)
  • Object temperature measurement range 0°C – 100°C (32°F – 212°F)
  • Possibility to set the date, year, and time
  • Two measurement modes: body and surface
  • Quick measurement
  • Memory of the last 10 measurements
  • Automatic shut-off after 1 minute of inactivity.
  • Low battery indicator
  • Compliance with the standard CE

How to use:
After pressing the power button, the thermometer beeps and displays all available functions and backlight colors. After a few seconds, the indicator light will come on. Another beep indicates it is ready to measure your temperature. Aim the thermometer at the center of your forehead, 2 to 3 cm away, and then press the START button. Do not remove the thermometer from your forehead until you hear the last beep. The measurement result will be displayed on the display. It will illuminate in one of three colors depending on the detected temperature.
Green indicates it is ready to read and a temperature below 37.3°C (99.1°F), yellow indicates an elevated temperature but below 37.8°C (100.0°F), and red indicates a temperature greater than or equal to 37.8°C (100.0°F). Press to turn off the thermometer. To select the surface measurement mode, aim the probe at the center of the object or surface and press the START button from a distance of 1-2 cm. After the second beep, the measured temperature will appear on the display. Press to turn the thermometer off.

Warnings:
Before use, read the enclosed instruction manual. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use or use contrary to the instructions. The thermometer is not a toy. Do not expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures (below -25°C/-13°F or above 55°C/131°F) or extreme humidity (>95% relative humidity). Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. Before use, remove hair, headbands, hats, and other headgear from the forehead. This thermometer is intended for home use only. Use of the thermometer is not a substitute for consulting a doctor. Do not measure temperature immediately after eating, bathing, exercising, or showering. Do not take temperature readings on scars, open wounds, or abrasions. Do not use the thermometer on a sweaty or damp forehead. Do not take temperature while breastfeeding or immediately after breastfeeding. Do not use the thermometer outdoors. Do not use this thermometer to take temperature near high-temperature surfaces/places (e.g., fireplaces or stoves). Keep the thermometer in the same room in which it is being taken. If you move the thermometer from one room to another with a different humidity or temperature, wait approximately 30 minutes. The measuring window is the most delicate part of the thermometer; do not touch it. To clean, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with 75% isopropyl alcohol.
