Synephrine is a dietary supplement in capsules containing synephrine. It comes from the fruit extract of the evergreen fruit tree, the bitter orange. Synephrine is most often extracted from the peel of the fruit, and its leaves are often used to produce essential oils. Synephrine is present in many products, but is a characteristic ingredient in thermogenic preparations. It is also popular as a caffeine synergist.
