Fragrance History:
Gaiacwood essential oil comes from the Bulnesia sarmientoi tree, which grows primarily in South America. Perfumer Geza Schoen incorporated it into Molecule 01 Eau de Toilette, which aims to counterpoint mainstream fragrances: "Gaiacwood has the aroma of fine whiskey aged in wooden barrels.
