Fragrance composition:
The Ghost in the Shell opens with a spark of aqual™, a cool, refreshing marine essence, and yuzu HE, a distinctive citrus accent, which blend perfectly with the delicate, green note of hexyl acetate. The heart of the composition is exquisite jasmine absolute, a rich floral depth, combined with mugane™, a modern take on classic freshness, and a milky leather accord, which brings a soothing, creamy softness. The base of the fragrance is formed by a moss accord, earthy and grounding, complemented by vinyl guaiacol – an intriguing, smoky nuance – and orcanox™ – a synthetic warmth with notes of amber and musk, adding depth and warmth to the overall composition.

Created by master perfumer Etienne de Swardt, The Ghost in the Shell pays homage to the philosophy of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and draws inspiration from the cybernetic imagination of Japanese artist Shirow Masamune. It is a futuristic exploration of biotechnology and nature, in homage to a world where human evolution is heading towards a new dawn.
