This exclusive collection reimagines the legend of the iconic Terracotta powder, created by Maison Guerlain in 1984, capturing the rich hues of Moroccan dunes bathed in sunlight.
It was the image of the sun sculpting the contours of the dunes that inspired the development of the pressed formula of Terracotta Golden Dunes. The unique harmony of this collection is available in three new, refreshed, refillable cases. Guerlain has partnered with Aït Manos to create three exclusive cases. A Moroccan manufacturer, cultivating traditional craftsmanship, specializes in a modern interpretation of the unique Moroccan art of zellige—traditional decorative mosaics made of colored ceramic. These unique zellige patterns are combined with a colorful marbled print in shades of semi-precious stones. Each of these refillable cases is reminiscent of the Moroccan desert:
- Blue Daklha: a lapis lazuli-style blue accented by a red geometric motif, in a composition dotted with light blue and white speckles.
- Red Zagora: a contrast of garnet red and two shades of yellow in a stylized pattern reminiscent of the sun.
- Green Agafay: the color of jade dominates this composition, with a star-shaped motif surrounding a gradation of green tones.
