Japan Sencha is one of the best Japanese teas. It is grown on large plantations. The leaves have a dark, emerald shade. The light green infusion has a wonderful, fresh scent, reminiscent of a light spring morning. The flavor has a slight bitterness, which can be softened by a shorter steeping time. The tea leaves a pleasant, sweet aftertaste. Green tea originates from China, from where it spread to other Asian countries. It has become a part of Eastern medicine, associated with numerous rituals and magical practices. The ingredients it contains act as antioxidants, supporting our physical and mental health. It is also recommended for those who want to stay in shape and care for their heart. Preparation/dosage: Mix 3 teaspoons of powder (9-10 g) with 500 ml of water at 70°C, steep for 1-2 minutes, then strain. The tea can be steeped up to three times. With each subsequent steeping, increase the steeping time by one minute. It is worth experimenting with the steeping time and water temperature. Japan Sencha retains its excellent flavor even when steeped in water at a lower temperature, such as 50°C.
